Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, Meaghan Carroll holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Choral Music Education from The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Her passion for music education led her to the incomparable Chicago Children’s Choir. She is currently in her fifth year as a full-time conductor with the CCC, teaching at numerous In-School choirs across the city and directing the Beverly Neighborhood Choir. She also serves as a choreographer for the 10 neighborhood sites.
In addition to her position at the Chicago Children’s Choir, Meaghan directed the Waubonsie Valley Girls in Heels Show Choir in Aurora, Illinois. She has also choreographed sets for the Jack Hille Middle School Show Choir, the Dauphin Jr. High Show Choir and has served as an adjudicator at many show choir competitions across the country. Over the years, Meaghan has performed at venues such as Six Flags Great America, The Metro, Chicago Symphony Center and the Vatican. She also enjoys traveling, spending time with family and friends and enjoying the many restaurants Chicago has to offer.
