Since 1991, the Rogers Park Neighborhood Choir has served boys and girls from Rogers Park and surrounding neighborhoods.

Neighborhood Choir singers perform a number of times throughout the year while learning proper vocal technique, music reading and sight singing skills, and the discipline of singing with musicality, movement and expression.

The Rogers Park Neighborhood Choir has been invited to sing for community functions in Rogers Park and frequently collaborates with the Humboldt Park Neighborhood Choir. The Rogers Park Neighborhood Choir regularly performs as part of Chicago Children’s Choir’s annual Canto Latino concert, where they serve as hosts on alternating years. Recently, select singers have performed in Carmen at Lyric Opera of Chicago, Ivan the Terrible and Merry, Merry Chicago! with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Lord of the Rings at Ravinia Festival and a holiday concert with the Northbrook Symphony. Members of the Rogers Park Neighborhood Choir have toured throughout the United States including to: Michigan, Indiana, Philadelphia and St. Louis.
